About Me

Hi, I’m Lauryn Cook. I am a born-and-raised Floridian with a lifelong passion for creating and working with my hands. I grew up in a deeply artistic family—watching my mom garden and sew, my dad build homes and carve wood, and my grandmother paint magnificent watercolors.

So, naturally... I earned an accounting degree and spent 10 years working in healthcare finance and operations.

During those ten years, I discovered that business strategy requires just as much creativity and ingenuity as a fine work of art. Mastering hospital operations and learning how to present complex data effectively is a skillset I will always value. However, in 2026, I felt called to channel that expertise into a new direction.

As a passionate stitcher, I noticed severe material shortages destabilizing the needlepoint industry. I saw new shop owners betting everything on their design lines, only to be left with no product to sell. Wanting to protect this community, a family friend introduced me to my now-business partner, an expert in manufacturing logistics. Together, we set to work to build a reliable, high-quality resource providing Needlepoint Canvas, Stretcher Bars, and custom Needle Minders to creators and businesses everywhere.
